Scoping studies and mine plans

We connect the geological foundation with possible development scenarios and further studies.

SCOPE OF WORK

  • We identify preliminary mining, processing, recovery and saleable-product options.
  • Where data are sufficient, we estimate indicative capital and operating costs and assess infrastructure, water and energy requirements.
  • We test scenario sensitivity to grade, recovery, throughput, costs and price assumptions.
  • We develop a study plan for the next project stage.
  • Prepared and updated with mine design specialists: geological basis, mining sequence, scheduled ore and waste volumes, mine geometry and infrastructure. We coordinate the sections and support responses to technical comments.

Where input data are insufficient, we undertake a conceptual review. A Scoping Study cannot support a declaration of Ore Reserves (JORC Code 2012, clauses 37-38).
